Yului Jeong is an undergraduate student in Earth and Environmental Sciences at Seoul National University and an Undergraduate Intern at IMSI Research Lab. In the Web Lab, she conducts field- and laboratory-based geoscience research, including collecting rock samples and analyzing their physical and geochemical characteristics. At IMSI Lab, she connects this Earth-science perspective with dry-lab AI research.
Her current work spans medical AI using perineural invasion (PNI) data and remote-sensing AI with hyperspectral imagery and synthetic aperture radar (SAR). She also contributed to SSDenoDet, an AAAI 2027 submission that transfers corruption-robust hyperspectral representations to SAR target detection through self-supervised cross-domain distillation, with an emphasis on speckle robustness and small-target localization.
